The 80th Independence Day was celebrated in our college on 15 August 2026 with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. Faculty members and trainees participated actively in the programme, making the celebration special and memorable.

The programme began at 7:30 AM with the gathering of faculty members and trainees. Everyone came together and sang “Vande Mataram.” The National Flag was hoisted at 7:50 AM, followed by the National Anthem.

At 8:05 AM, our Principal, Dr. M. Neethi Perumal, addressed the gathering. The Principal spoke about the importance of Independence Day and highlighted the values of patriotism, unity, discipline, and responsibility towards our country. The inspiring speech added great meaning to the celebration.

The evening programme began at 5:30 PM with the Flag Lowering Ceremony, conducted by Shri Mattu Nyompu. The ceremony was conducted with due respect and marked the end of the day's Independence Day celebrations.

Overall, the 80th Independence Day Celebration was a happy, patriotic, and memorable occasion. The various activities and programmes brought everyone together and created a strong sense of unity and national pride. The celebration reminded everyone of the importance of respecting our nation and fulfilling our responsibilities as responsible citizens.
