Vivekananda Kendra College of Teacher Education (VKCTE), Nirjuli, organised an Orientation-cum-Induction Programme for the academic session 2026–27 on 12 August 2026 at the Multipurpose Hall. The programme aimed to welcome the new trainees and familiarise them with the college's curriculum, academic environment, institutional practices, values and vision, while highlighting the responsibilities of the teaching profession.

The programme was graced by Dr. Joram Begi, Chairperson and Trustee, VKVAPT; Smt. R. Raji, Principal, VKV Nirjuli; Sri Ramtanu Banerjee, Assistant Teacher, VKV Nirjuli; faculty members, university toppers and students of the 1st and 3rd Semesters.

The programme began with Shanti Path, followed by the Eikya Mantra and ceremonial lamp lighting. The dignitaries were welcomed and felicitated. A special felicitation was held for the Rajiv Gandhi University rank holders of the 2024–26 batch, including Sri Kangkeng Pigyor (1st Rank), Su. Bisanli Billai (2nd Rank), Su. Khapni Ronrang (5th Rank), Su. Kaman Tekseng (6th Rank), Su. Puja Gupta (8th Rank) and Su. Mari Ete (10th Rank). The available rank holders were honoured for their achievements.

The Principal, in her welcome address, emphasised that teacher education is not merely about earning a degree but about preparing for a profession of great social responsibility. A presentation by Sri Phurpa Tsering Bappu introduced the trainees to VKCTE's history, mission, facilities, academic activities and student welfare initiatives. The trainees were also introduced to the ideals and activities of Vivekananda Kendra by Sri Ramtanu Banerjee, with emphasis on Man-Making and Nation-Building.

The University Toppers shared their experiences and encouraged the new trainees to maintain discipline, regularity, dedication and a positive attitude. In his Words of Wisdom, Dr. Joram Begi highlighted the importance of academic competence, character, compassion, discipline, confidence and a spirit of service. He encouraged the trainees to become role models and responsible contributors to society.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Sri Hem Prasad Sharma, Assistant Professor, VKCTE, followed by the Shanti Mantra and Kendra Prarthana. A group photograph and refreshments marked the conclusion of the event.

Overall, the programme was informative and inspiring, giving the trainees a clear understanding of VKCTE's academic environment, institutional values and the responsibilities of a teacher. It motivated them to begin their teacher education journey with discipline, dedication, confidence, good character and a spirit of service.

The 80th Independence Day was celebrated in our college on 15 August 2026 with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. Faculty members and trainees participated actively in the programme, making the celebration special and memorable.

The programme began at 7:30 AM with the gathering of faculty members and trainees. Everyone came together and sang “Vande Mataram.” The National Flag was hoisted at 7:50 AM, followed by the National Anthem.

At 8:05 AM, our Principal, Dr. M. Neethi Perumal, addressed the gathering. The Principal spoke about the importance of Independence Day and highlighted the values of patriotism, unity, discipline, and responsibility towards our country. The inspiring speech added great meaning to the celebration.

The evening programme began at 5:30 PM with the Flag Lowering Ceremony, conducted by Shri Mattu Nyompu. The ceremony was conducted with due respect and marked the end of the day's Independence Day celebrations.

Overall, the 80th Independence Day Celebration was a happy, patriotic, and memorable occasion. The various activities and programmes brought everyone together and created a strong sense of unity and national pride. The celebration reminded everyone of the importance of respecting our nation and fulfilling our responsibilities as responsible citizens.

डॉ. संजय यादव, सहायक आचार्य, स्वामी विवेकानंद केंद्र कॉलेज ऑफ़ टीचर एजुकेशन द्वारा 4 जुलाई 2026 से 11 जुलाई 2026 तक बैंकॉक, थाईलैंड का शैक्षिक भ्रमण किया गया। इस अध्ययन यात्रा का उद्देश्य भारत और थाईलैंड के मध्य शैक्षिक एवं सांस्कृतिक संबंधों का अध्ययन करना, हिन्दी भाषा के वैश्विक स्वरूप को समझना तथा वहाँ संचालित हिन्दी एवं भारतीय संस्कृति के प्रचार-प्रसार से संबंधित गतिविधियों का प्रत्यक्ष अवलोकन करना था।

चुलालोंगकोर्ण विश्वविद्यालय, बैंकॉक के भ्रमण के दौरान विश्वविद्यालय के सहायक आचार्य श्री कितिपोंग बुन्कर्ड जी से भेंट एवं शैक्षणिक संवाद का अवसर प्राप्त हुआ, जो पीएचडी (हिन्दी) में शोधरत भी हैं। उन्होंने विश्वविद्यालय में हिन्दी अध्ययन एवं भारत-थाई शैक्षिक संबंधों की जानकारी दी। विद्यार्थियों से वार्तालाप के दौरान हिन्दी भाषा सीखने के प्रति उनका उत्साह एवं भारतीय संस्कृति के प्रति गहरी रुचि देखकर अत्यंत प्रसन्नता हुई।

थाई-भारत सांस्कृतिक आश्रम में हिन्दी एवं भारतीय संस्कृति से संबंधित गतिविधियों का अवलोकन किया गया। यह संस्थान दोनों देशों के सांस्कृतिक एवं शैक्षिक संबंधों को सुदृढ़ करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रहा है। स्वामी विवेकानंद सांस्कृतिक केंद्र, बैंकाक का भी भ्रमण किया गया। इस अवसर पर केंद्र के निदेशक डॉ. चैतन्य प्रकाश योगी जी  तथा कार्यक्रम प्रबंधक श्री संतोष कुमार जी से भेंट एवं सार्थक विचार-विमर्श हुआ। उन्होंने विदेशों में हिन्दी, भारतीय संस्कृति के प्रचार-प्रसार हेतु संचालित विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों की जानकारी दी।

यह शैक्षिक भ्रमण अत्यंत ज्ञानवर्धक एवं प्रेरणादायक रहा। इस यात्रा से यह स्पष्ट हुआ कि थाईलैंड में हिन्दी भाषा एवं भारतीय संस्कृति के प्रति निरंतर रुचि बढ़ रही है। ऐसे शैक्षिक एवं सांस्कृतिक आदान-प्रदान संबंधी कार्य भारत और थाईलैंड के मध्य मैत्रीपूर्ण संबंधों को और अधिक सुदृढ़ बनाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा सकते हैं।

A two-day National seminar on the topic "भारतीय भाषा परिवार की संकल्पना एवं पूर्वोत्तर की भाषाएं " was jointly organised by Central Hindi Directorate, the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (Govt. Of India) and Vivekananda Kendra College of Teacher Education, Nirjuli, Arunachal Pradesh on 2nd and 3rd February 2026 at Multipurpose Hall, VKCTE, Nirjuli, Arunachal Pradesh. There were a total of 18 guests and 7 paper presenters. Shri Phurpa Tsering Bappu, Assistant Professor, VKCTE hosted the programme.

The Vivekananda Kendra College of Teacher Education (VKCTE), Nirjuli, observed Sadhana Diwas with devotion and enthusiasm on 19th November 2025 at the Multipurpose Hall. The programme commenced at 10:30 AM.

4 अक्टूबर 2025 को विवेकानंद केंद्र कॉलेज ऑफ़ टीचर एजुकेशन, निर्जुली में हिन्दी कार्य दिवस का आयोजन बड़े उत्साह और उमंग के साथ मनाया गया ।   इस अवसर समस्त शिक्षकगण, कर्मचारी तथा शिक्षक प्रशिक्षक उपस्थित रहे ।  

The VKCTE has organized an Orientation Programme for the new batch of teacher trainees on 27th August 2025. The programme commenced at 10:30 AM with the chanting of Shanti Path and Aikya Mantra by Sri Sumit Kumar Baral and Sri Anirban Santra, Assistant professors, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. 

On 11th September 2025, VKCTE, Nirjuli, celebrated ‘Universal Brotherhood Day’ to commemorate the anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s iconic speech at the Chicago Parliament in 1893. The programme was organised to spread the message of peace, love, and togetherness among student teachers.
